Wessex Fleet Updates
Wessex Fleet’s Pricing and Procurement Manager, Harry Tuckerman had the pleasure of visiting Company Car in Action with our Procurement Assistant Laura Turner last week. A premier test driving event for fleet professionals, the event on 11th June, gave them the opportunity to network with manufacturers and take some cars out for a spin.
Various manufacturer stands showcased some of the hottest models on offer and the pair got to connect with numerous friendly faces in the industry, test driving some of their vehicle line-up.
These included the new Alfa Romeo Junior Veloce as well as the new Volvo EX90, Laura’s favourite car of the day. It included a very cool variable back massage feature on the seats, and offered a particularly smooth drive and luxurious interior making it an ideal family car.
Laura said: “It was useful to get an early look at the new Jeep Compass which we’ll definitely be wanting to stock, and the new Fiat Grande Panda, both due to be on the road later this year. We also got to look around the really impressive Volvo ES90 – which hasn’t yet been released but is in a league of its own. And it was really exciting to see the Tesla Cybertruck in the flesh!”
The event at Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire, gives fleet decision-makers and lease companies the opportunity to make the most of more than 30 miles of roads and tracks with varied surfaces and technical features.
Our attendance will help us make important decisions about which brands and models to lease and make sure we’ve got the very best first-hand information and experience to pass onto our customers.
